2023 Cannes Film Festival: amfAR Gala Red Carpet Rundown

We LOVE a good amfAR gala darlings! The stars sparkle and the fashion dazzles and confuses, every time! It’s sort of like a Golden Globes after-party combined with a Pride event! Let’s assess all of the loudness, shall we?
Adam Lambert in Edward Sexton
The color is gorgeous and we love the boutonniere. We’d like it more if it wasn’t so big on him.
Ashley Graham in Nina Ricci
This is a lot of fun and loaded with personality. More hats on the red carpet, we say.
Bebe Rexha in Faraz Manan
The bow is stupid. Sorry, but… actually, we’re not sorry.
Coco Rocha in Gaurav Gupta Couture
LOVE IT. Halle Bailey is FURIOUS she didn’t get to this one first. She’s working it perfectly.
Eva Longoria in Ashi Studio
Sure. Okay, Eva Longoria.
Fan Bingbing in Ali Karoui Couture
A classic that still manages to look stunning when it’s done right. She did it right.
Halsey in Givenchy
The dress is flimsy, poorly designed, and does nothing for her. The gloves don’t go with it at all.
Heidi Klum in Georges Hobeika
The is downright sedate for The Kluminator.
James Marsden in Thom Sweeney
Prom date.
Kate Beckinsale in Tony Ward Couture
This is also somewhat surprisingly low-key, given the wearer. She likes her fashion loud and tacky, while this is merely focus-pulling and photogenic. She looks great.
Queen Latifah (in Lanvin) and Eboni Nichols
Such a great sight to see. The queen looks gorgeous in her suit and Eboni’s gown is a perfect visual accompaniment to it. They look fantastic together.
Ramona Agruma and Rebel Wilson
Another pair of happy ladies, looking gorgeous. The dresses are simple, but they complement each other well.
Storm Reid in Prada
The dress is great. The hair is oddly restrained and severe.
Teyana Taylor in Mônot
She always manages to come up with/find the most striking ways of serving body. Can’t argue with this at all; she looks amazing.
