Kerry Washington in Elie Saab at Hulu’s UNPRISONED Premiere: IN or OUT?
Kerry Washington, at the premiere of her new series for Hulu, Unprisoned, offered up a different take on the ubiquitous red carpet sheer gown. We’re curious to see what all of y’all think.
Well, at least it’s not black. The colors are a little harsh, but we think the dress has a bit of an island feel to it. It comes off light, sexy and a little fun. Her hair looks fantastic and we love the earrings. On the other hand, it’s still a sheer white lace dress, no matter how you dress it up. And while we try not to focus too much on this sort of thing, the placement of the flowers right at the crotch only serves to shine a spotlight on it. We think we might like this more if the floral motif was in a more interesting configuration and if the flowers were rendered in richer colors. But that’s just us. This one’s all about you. Let’s hear it.
